Since the bond between the copper foil and the ceramic substrate is formed by a bonding technique, by using the DCB ceramic substrate as heat dissipation, it will have a stronger adhesive strength than a general-purpose PCB material or a thick film circuit material.

Ceramic dielectric strength gives LED package products excellent thermal conductivity and long-term material stability. In other words, the isolation performance of LED products does not change with increasing operating temperature and number of thermal cycles. In addition, DCB ceramic PCBs have higher current loads and better solderability than thick film circuits.
